◈ A student-led group of highly motivated students looking to write a review paper, focusing on the discussion and critique of current knowledge within a field of study.

◈ This initiative involves the work of interns (high school and college/university students with no experience in research) and mentors (high school and college/university students with experience in research AND/OR at least one publication). See below for descriptions of specific roles and eligibility requirements.

◈ All participants in the program will be guaranteed publication on The Steamology Project website upon completion.

Program members should expect to work on tasks remotely to meet deadlines.

◈ Workload varies depending on the research topic.
◈ Approximately one online meeting once a month (~1 hour).
◈ Members are welcome to request more meetings at the discretion of their mentor (requested meetings are held in 30-minute increments).

Students are strictly prohibited from submitting their manuscripts to multiple journals. This notion is known as dual, simultaneous, or concurrent submission and is illegal across the scientific community.

Note: The TSP Research Internship Program is a volunteer-based opportunity. Neither interns nor mentors receive a stipend for their participation.
